Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Flight to Arba Minch and Dorze Village
Fly to Arba Minch and visit the highland Dorze village to see their unique weaving and bamboo architecture.
Day 2: Lake Chamo and Drive to Turmi
Take a boat trip on Lake Chamo to see the “crocodile market.” Drive to Turmi, visiting the Konso stone villages and Bana people on the way.
Day 3: Hamer Tribes and Jinka
Spend time with the Hamer people and witness a bull-jumping ceremony. Drive to Jinka to visit the Ari people.
Day 4: Karo Tribe and Omo Museum
Visit the Karo tribe on the banks of the Omo River. Return to Jinka to tour the South Omo Research Center and Museum.
Day 5: Mursi Village and Return to Addis
Excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi people. Fly back to the capital in the afternoon.
Day 6: The Churches of Lalibela
Fly to Lalibela to explore the world-famous rock-hewn churches, including Bete Giyorgis and Biete Medhani Alem.
Day 7: Yimrehanna Kristos Cave Church
Drive north of Lalibela to visit the stunning cave church of Yimrehanna Kristos before flying back to Addis Ababa.
Day 8: Addis Ababa City Tour
Full day city tour visiting the Mercato, Mount Entoto, and the National Museum of Ethiopia.
